Welcome to the Official Mary Sheridan website!

Mary was born in Billings, MT and raised in Spokane, WA. It's like her favorite audition song, "Mira" from Carnival (by Bob Merrill.)   "They have the very greenest trees and skies as bright as flame.   But what I liked the best in Mira (or Spokane) is everybody knew my name."   Mary graduated from Yale University with a degree in History and wrote her thesis on the first Broadway phenomenon, George M. Cohan.   She now lives in the best city in the world, NYC.

Mary is an accomplished actor and singer with a diverse background ranging from classical to cabaret music and classical, dramatic, experimental, children's and musical theatre.   Her voice is known for its bright quality and soaring high notes.   She is the quintessential ingénue who often gets cast in parts that showcase her vulnerability, inner strength and passion for living.

Mary's ultimate professional goal is to play 65 year old Mary Tyrone (Eugene O'Neill's mother) in "Long Days Journey into Night"on Broadway.   But, fortunately, she has a lot of time to get this done and is enjoying the ride up.
